THE FOUNDER

Savvas Savva (Samis) – Founder & Visionary of Timoleon Developers

Samis’ journey began in 1990, working alongside his father at Benacon Builders Ltd, where he earned his contractor certification. He went on to serve as Technical Director and shareholder of Benacon Builders Ltd and later as CEO of Savele Constructions & Quality Specialists Ltd. In 2014, he founded Timoleon Developers, under his leadership, the company has grown into a respected name in construction, known for its commitment to quality and excellence. After decades in the construction industry, Samis grew frustrated with the common practice among modern developers of cutting corners to maximize profits, often resulting in subpar properties. He wanted to break away from this trend and ensure quality and craftsmanship remained at the forefront. Thus, decided to step into developing.

Nikolas Savva – Marketing and Sales Manager

Nikolas Savva, the 23-year-old son of founder Savvas Savva (Samis), is the face of Timoleon Developers. A 2024 graduate of the University of Cyprus with a degree in Economics, Nikolas is now pursuing a postgraduate degree in Real Estate at Neapolis University in Paphos. As the company’s Marketing and Sales Manager, he brings fresh energy and a modern approach to driving the company’s growth and outreach.

Lambros Savva – IT Manager

Lambros Savva, the 19-year-old younger son of Savvas Savva (Samis), is currently studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). While also contributing to the marketing efforts of Timoleon Developers, Lambros focuses on technology and IT solutions, bringing a fresh technical perspective to the company’s operations.

Samis over the years

1990-2007

1990-1999: Following his fathers footsteps, Savvas worked at Benacon Builders Ltd., a company which his father co-owned, a company renowned for its commitment to quality construction and luxury housing, as a builder.
1999-2007: Served as Technical Director and shareholder at Benacon Builders Ltd.
2001: The Leptos Group acquired 51% of Benacon Builders Ltd., but Savvas stayed as Technical Director.
2001-2007: Savvs led projects including luxury houses, big villages in Olympos, Tsada, and Perneri in Tala, along with hotels (Basilica, Paphos Garden, Coral Beach), shopping centers, tourist complexes, and apartment buildings.

2007-2012

End of 2007: Following Benacon Builders’ integration into the Leptos Group, Savvas established Savele Construction Quality Specialists Ltd, taking on the role of Technical Director.
2008-2009: Savele oversaw the construction of luxury houses and the SPA at Zenon Chrysanthou Hotels in Miliou.
2012: Savvas founded PPM (Professional Project Management) in Oman Muscat and Doha Qatar, focusing on government projects and high-end custom villas.
